It's so sad to hear that CDL will have to be down for an unknown period of time. I pray that CDL will find a better hoster. In the mean time, is there any place we all can gather still to share?

Dear Christian Downloads member, I'm writing this announcement to inform you that in the following couple of days Christian Downloads, FaithNoise and TehORNG websites are going offline for an indefinite amount of time. It may be for a few hours, it may be for a few days, it may be for some months... no one can tell at this point. The reason for going offline is that our current host won't host us anymore for reasons that I don't agree with but I totally respect. We've been through much trouble as a community all these years and if it wasn't for God's grace covering us, and some people's dedication and really hard work, we would have been just a distant memory by now. Whatever your feelings are, please pray for this community as a whole, for the individual members, and for us the administrators as we all really need it at this point. If anyone has any hosting solutions, suggestions, or connections, please let us know. I pray that this site will find another host. This site has been a blessing to so many of us over the years and would hate to see it go. We will standing with you guys and will be praying hard for this site to keep up the ministry it has been doing over the years. God Bless You!!!

There's a site called tehPARADOX that uses a webhost in Hong Kong, I believe. They've had to change hosts a few times but the latest one they've been with since December '08, if I'm not mistaken.
I really hope y'all are able to find a new host. CDL and tehorng have been a great help in finding music, especially some lesser-known Christian music (e.g., Adam Again, Bloomsday).

Last time I checked, that was in the Netherlands. Unless they up and moved on me, which is possible. With all the drinking and pot usage, they might have up and wandered a country or two over... |

I am very sad to hear this news when I received it on my mailbox this morning. I hope that CDL can get through this quickly and find another host so we can gather and discuss together once again in this place. It's also sad news to hear that not only CDL is going down but also FaithNoise and TehORNG. In the meantime, we should all pray for God's guidance and ask where does He intend to take CDL from here. Is He still have plans for CDL that will bring glory to His name? I really hope so...
