Hey guys, my church (Watoto Church) is on a mission to build God's House. And I composed this poem to urge the believers to hearken unto the call of the time.

                CRANE CULTURE

When God created everything that we see in nature,
He gave man the obligation to cultivate and to nurture,
All of what his eyes shall see and any other creature,
Which the prophets laid down to paper in the Holy Scripture.

Amongst other tasks to accomplish was that of work,
So that from his daily sweat man was to face no lack,
Because God shall bless the return of the hands that mark,
The earth with any evidence of genuine hard work.

As we continue to strain daily with the work and to yield,
More and more of the resources found in each other’s work field,
Let us be mindful of our Heavenly Father’s calling to build,
A pleasant House for His dwelling which shall also be our shield.

When the call is issued to gather all the necessary resources,
We should not pay any attention to the discouraging voices,
But seek the Heavenly Father’s abundance of sources,
So that we are able to make the most appropriate choices.

Now that the opportune moment is here again,
We are sure to experience the Father’s abundant rain,
Which shall irrigate all of what we have sown as grain,
And also wash away all of our sorrows and pain.

Let us respond positively to the call and make haste,
If we tarry any longer then it is divine time we are putting to waste,
Let us bring forth the necessities to build our Father a sacred place,
Continuously and generously offering our best to the God of Grace.

When God calls us to set apart for Him a sanctified place of rest,
It is a blessing in disguise for us to eternally invest,
Because God loves a cheerful giver and this very one He will reward,
At the final day when Jesus returns with everyone’s award.

Humans from ages past have adopted various cultures and traditions,
And this time round may we adopt the CRANE CULTURE for an addiction,
Whereby when we come together as individual members of the Watoto Church,
We believe that our collections with God’s blessing shall amount to so much.

Be it a flying crane or a rolling crane,
May God enable us to give the best that we can,
Ensuring that for every church gathering we always remember,
To carry along with us a crane offering to build The Sanctuary to our Maker.
