What was wrong with Saw? At least it was halfway original. And I assume you're talking about the new Dawn Of The Dead, not the wonderful original.

Agreed, then the sequel ripped off it's best stuff from the Cube franchise and it went downhill from there.

Brenron is the king of loving crappy movies (It's his guilty pleasure). I'm sure he could write a book on all the terrible flicks he's seen.

Nice anti thread. Because it's the opposite of my thread " best scary movies". But I saw the fog and it was pretty terrible, it wasn't even scary!!! The legend of lucey keys was awful as well.

The Village was awful. I haven't seen many scary movies though, not that I would call The Village "scary".

My grad school thesis is scarier than the Village.

Saw seems too much repetitive to me. How many Saw movies are they going to release in the future? On the other hand, you were alright. I liked the original Dawn of the Dead, but I hate the new one. Ya, Saw was good Exorcism of Emily Rose was good I liked the twist on Dracula 2000 and enjoyed it.

I enjoyed Dracula 2000, but there are better vampire movies than Dracula 2000. For instance, I love Vampires by John Carpenter.

The ones I bolded are DEFINITELY not the worst scary movies, honestly, they're some of my favorites, most of them are bad, but it's understood going into them that they're going to be bad...they're FUN... However, you don't go bashin' my man Freddy...Freddy's the KING. -Loved SAW, the original trilogy are among my favorite horror movies -Amusement was actually very well done, great use of non-linear story telling -Dawn Of The Dead was amazing, period. BOTH versions.(And the only reason the new one was good was because Zack Snyder hadn't been introduced to slow motion yet.) - Bride of Chucky and Seed of Chucky were SUPPOSED to be awful and funny. My list of "Scary" movies that were meant to be serious and scary but just turned out awful? -Dark Water -The Grudge (and sequels) -The Ring 2 -Shutter -The Wicker Man -The Fog (Remake) -One Missed Call -The Eye -Wolf Creek -Dark Ride -My Bloody Valentine -Black Christmas (Both Versions) -Vacancy I could very well go on, but you get the idea...

Because it's British? ... Because it has bad production, horrible acting and is very predictable.

I can't believe no one has mentioned 'The Exorcist 2', it is by far thee worst scary movie ever made.
I honestly couldn't tell you from experience, because I didn't even bother with it. But the original remains a classic, of course.

Technically, only a movie involving demons is demonic. I just watched They Live! by John Carpenter. It was pretty bad, but a kind of cool idea. I guess Rowdy Roddy Piper fails as an actor. And if you pick up Gorehouse Greats Collection from Wal-mart, it's got some pretty terrible older scary movies.
