Oops ? I did it again!
If you take a good look into my eyes
Is there anything that you realize?
Like signs to cause you to criticize
If no is your answer then it is all lies.
Whenever I miss the mark and go astray
I?m guilty of the pleasure that always comes my way
Although deep inside of me a voice continues to say
There will always be forgiveness for any foul play.
One mistake we often make is taking God for granted
As we commit the very sins we never even wanted
Such as reaping the harvest whose seed we never planted
Rendering us very lazy and becoming spiritually stunted.
As more of God?s Grace is availed for our benefit
Many a time we are oblivious and from it we do not profit
The enemy shall overpower us and we encounter defeat
If only we don?t daily make time to have a seat at His feet.
Christ?s death on the cross is always abused
When the freedom we have in Christ is misused
Just like the people invited to the banquet refused
And the unbelievers who misinterpret the Scriptures and get confused.
God?s mercies are new every morning
So we should forget all of yesterday?s sadness and moaning
And embrace the forgiveness and start enjoying
The abundance of the fresh River of life that is ever flowing.
