They are called rappers, not singers.

There's a hip-hop news and discussion board especially for these types of thread here: http://www.christiandl.com/index.php/board,105.0.htmlMine would be Theory Hazit, Corey Red, Japhia Life, Scribbling Idiots...etc.

I really love hardcore/metalcore music, but I do listen to rap everynow and then.
I'd say I stick to Trip Lee, Lecrae, and Flame, I do like John Reuben alot ("Are We There Yet? = SUCH A GOOD CD)

Lupe Fiasco is far from filthy. Especially when you compare him to the other rappers on your list. He doesn't tend to rap about girls and cars and money and all that, well not much. Most of the time it's all positive. I really like him.

lil wayne is one of the least-talented, most overrated artists I've heard in a long long time. I listened to some of his stuff and saw performances on tv. What a crock of garbage.

I agree. And people still buy this garbage. Shows how good their taste in music is I guess.

I've heard more talented ones than Eminem but he is truly one of the best ones I've ever heard. Regardless of your opinion on his lyrical content, his ability and creativity is impressive.

Souljah Boy...
Shai Linne and Flame... though I wish I never actually purchased Flame and just borrowed it from a friend. After three days I stopped listening. Shai Linne is awesome. I brought his album of itunes twice.
