I was wondering which football league you like more.
The NFL has bigger guys, more teams and faster/bigger hits and plays (in a sense)
The CFL has good rivalries, good players nice hits and sweet plays.
So the question is which league do you like more?
Personally i like the CFL more, I find it more exciting. Favorite team= BC LIONS

Hate to break it to you, drum_mer, but the NFL had better rivalries, better players, harder hits, and sweeter plays.
Name the last ex-CFL player to win the Super Bowl. Been a while, hasn't it? There's a reason for that.
The CFL may have better-than-average so-called "skill position" players (e.g. QB, WR) but that's got a lot to do with a passer-oriented league (a 3-down rule has the tendency to do that) and all kinds of room to run around in, but in the high-contact positions (linemen, RBs), there's no question which league is more physically-demanding and which requires more adaptation by RBs.
For what it's worth, the BC Lions may give the Detroit Lions a run for their money. Otherwise, the NFL trumps the CFL by miles.

I really hope that a NFL/CFL matchup ever occurs, cause i'm going to Vegas when that happens.

Didn't he win one with the Colts? Or did he go to them that offseason?

Mike Vanderjagt has never won a Super Bowl. He left the Colts before the 2006-2007 season.

CFL is the far better game. If you like guys who aren't good enough to play in the NFL, then sure. The best CFL team couldn't beat an average NFL team.

You obviously don't have your standards set very high at all. Maybe you should watch an NFL game sometime.

Also, if the CFL is so great, why do TONS of Canadians come down to Buffalo for Bills' games? Why aren't Americans flocking up to Hamilton, Toronto, Montreal, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, and the rest of the cities for CFL games?

Based on what I like more, it would be the CFL but mainly because I'm Canadian. Also, being from Saskatchewan I've been a Rider fan from birth. I identify with the CFL more as I can go to games nearby for a lot cheaper than for me to attend NFL games (taking into account travel, tickets, accommodations, etc) and I can be a part of a huge fan base that include people not only just from this province but all over Canada. Also, the players are very accessible. For example, they live in the community with no walled gates surrounding them, many attend community events, and some travel throughout the province to give talks in schools.
I do agree with those on here that NFL teams would kill the CFL teams because there is a higher degree of skill. I mean the CFL is often used as the stepping stone for those who could not make it to the NFL the first time. Also, there are more teams so the NFL is much more competitive.

Blue Bomber fan! I enjoy the CFL more than the NFL, but that's just b/c it's local teams that I can get behind. The NFL's players are so much better though that it's really hard to compare the two on a "which one is better" way. I'd love to see the CFL game played by a full team of NFL caliber players though. That would be a show! What's this garbage "fair catch" rule in the NFL anyway?

it's really hard to compare the two on a "which one is better" way. It really isn't that hard: the NFL is by far the better league. I'd love to see the CFL game played by a full team of NFL caliber players though. That would be a show! And in return, an NFL game played by CFL players would be watching an inferior product. What's this garbage "fair catch" rule in the NFL anyway? That one I can agree with. I'd like to see that and some type of rule banning WRs and RBs from stepping out of bounds without contact. But hey, you want to talk about garbage? How about those oversized end zones?

The CFL is a much more open game and isn't about the hitting as much which is nice. NFL is exciting when it gets to the playoffs, that's it for me.

The Arena Football League, is, or was, IDK if it's still going, basically the CFL game, and it was better, because in America we do everything better, well with the exception of almost everything, but we do football better.
This isn't even fair, the lions would run rough shot through the CFL, I would even dare say that most SEC teams, or at least top 10 college teams would run the CFL.
You guys get the players that can't make it here.

The NFL is definitely the superior league. I don't know that I'd go as far as to say that college teams would beat CFL teams, though. The percentage of players from college who make it in the NFL is very low, and those who can't cut it (i.e., "the rest of them") either are finished with football once they graduate from college or try to make it in lesser leagues (like the CFL). Thus, the CFL may not have the top-tier elite players, but they have the next best set of players. No college team can claim to have that much. They just have the good fortune of having a couple of individuals who may make the grade in the elite league.
